Join us for a class on how to cook in cast iron pans and enjoy tasting various Secolari salts and vinegars. 1:00pm-3:00pmTaught by Mary's Land Farm Innkeeper Julie Webb, participants will learn about the versatility of cooking in cast iron, how to properly season pans and also how to care for cast iron pans. Class participants will savor the unique taste of cast iron cornbread as they discover flavor combinations of salts and vinegars with roasted vegetables and pasture raised steak.
A native of Maryland currently living in the Towson area, Kas Rohm energetically embraces the dynamic transparency that only watercolor offers. She seeks fresh composition, responding to the simultaneous momentum and stillness of subjects from her environment, often infusing whimsy into her paintings.
1:00pm-3:00pmLearn how to accentuate and elevate two classic dessert recipes using Secolari® olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Class participants will taste and hear about the nutritional benefits of ancient grain einkorn flour in this unique class taught by Mary’s Land Farm Innkeeper, Julie Webb.
